News; Nike Harajuku Hyperize By Takehiko Inoue

Published: Thursday 28 January, 2010

nike shoes

With all the shoes that are released in Japan, I often wonder why not relocate. The photo above Hyperize Nike is a store exclusively for Nike Harajuku in Japan. Just to be made in pieces 1OO, the shoe is the latest in 11Change project since the store. It celebrates 11 people or athletes who have a huge influence in sports in Japan.

Takehiko Inoue, who is responsible for the basketball craze in the 90s due to its highly successful comic book and animated television series Slam Dunk, decided to use a light COLORWAY for your design. Based on white, the shoe is accented with a blue light. Inoue also illustrated several basketball characters as they appear in light gray on top of all whites. Inoue was also commissioned to create a shirt and uses the same illustrations for the design of the shoe. As I said earlier, these items are only available in limited supply in the store 100 pieces of Harajuku in Japan. They officially go on sale on Jan. 30.
